Artist Statement
I make music for those who live carrying a quiet suffering — for those who have lost, endured, and walked on even when living felt heavy.
The starting point of my music is the very lives of the people I met in the welfare field. Families seeking hope; children and adults living each day while facing disability; care workers, welfare workers, and supporters who keep protecting dignity even as they waver between ideals and reality. In them dwelled a strength and a sorrow beyond words, and a quiet courage that still tried to move forward.
Each time I touched that light and that shadow, I realized: music is a power for standing beside someone. Music stands quietly next to another, eases their pain just a little, and leads them toward a new beginning. It is not a way to flee from reality, but a path to walk together with someone's reality.
I do not sing in order to sing well. I am here to sing with all my heart, with everything I have, for each person who has faced life. It is the cry of the soul of a human being who has witnessed countless deaths and final moments of life — and it is all that dwells within my voice.
